Our production plant is located in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, where we manufacture our products for customers in Mexico and all over the world.
Being close to Nuevo Laredo and the port of Altamira, Tamaulipas, gives us an edge for exporting our products to the rest of the world. We also have storehouses in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Hermosillo.

Our History
Our Company was founded in 1938 by Don Rafael Fernandez Saldaña under the name “Mercantil Fernandez,” and it has grown as a family company under a humanist philosophy based on solid values.
1947
Se constituyó Pigmentos y Óxidos, S.A. de C.V. (posteriormente PYOSA, S.A. de C.V.) con la fabricación de óxido de plomo para la industria automotriz, iniciando ese año las ventas al mercado de exportación.
Década de 1950´s
Inicia la fabricación de pigmentos inorgánicos, y orgánicos para las industrias de pinturas, tintas y plásticos. También colorantes textiles, así como colores certificados para alimentos y cosméticos
Década de 1960’s
Inicia la producción de colorantes dispersos y colorantes solventes para la industria de gasolinas, grasas y aceites lubricantes.
Década de 1970´s
Incursionamos en la fabricación y comercialización de productos químicos, intermediarios y productos agroquímicos.
1991
Se implementa la filosofía de Calidad Total con la capacitación y participación del personal en todos sus niveles. Posteriormente surgieron nuestros primeros Círculos de Control de Calidad.
2014
Como parte de un proceso de reestructuración de la empresa, nace VIAKEM S.A. DE C.V. formada por las unidades de negocio de Química Fina y Pigmentos Inorgánicos de PYOSA.
2016
La Unidad de Pigmentos Inorgánicos de VIAKEM se constituye como Dynakrom S.A.P.I. de C.V. continuando con la fabricación y comercialización de pigmentos inorgánicos, así como con la introducción de nuevas líneas de productos para las industrias minera y de demarcación vial, entre otras.
1947
Pigmentos y Óxidos, S.A. de C.V. (later PYOSA, S.A. de C.V.) was established to manufacture lead oxide for the automotive industry, and that same year, the company began exporting its products.
1950's
Begins the manufacture of inorganic and organic pigments for the paint, ink and plastics industries. Also textile dyes, as well as certified colors for food and cosmetics
1960’s
The company began to manufacture disperse dyes and solvent dyes for the gasoline, grease, and lube oils industry.
1970´s
The company began to manufacture and market chemicals, intermediary products, and agrochemicals.
1991
The Total Quality philosophy is implemented; all our personnel were trained and involved. Later, we began with our first Quality Control Circles (QCC).
2014
As part of our restructuring process, VIAKEM S.A. DE C.V. was established by merging the Fine Chemicals and Pigments units of PYOSA.
2016
The VIAKEM Inorganic Pigments Unit was established as Dynakrom S.A.P.I. de C.V., and continues to manufacture and market inorganic pigments and new product lines for the mining and road marking industries, among others.

Designed to meet the highest performance standards, for the paints and coatings industry, and the plastic industry.
We are an important market supplier of road marking products, through the manufacture and marketing of our Thermo-Kem® brand, duly complying with the Northamerican Standard AASHTO M-249 and the Mexican Department of Communications and Transportation (SCT) Standard N-CMT-5-001-13.
We are also involved in the mining industry, offering solutions to improve the precious metal extraction through the use of LEAD SALTS, our main product being LEAD NITRATE. We have sufficient manufacturing capacity to supply any level of demand.
